Tobias Fankhauser founded the law firm now known as Fankhauser Attorneys at Law at Rennweg 10 in the heart of Zurich in 1993 after his studies in Zurich and London. Tobias Fankhauser works primarily as a criminal defence lawyer and in traffic law. He puts his heart and soul into defending people in difficult situations.

After being admitted to the bar in 1991, Reto Caflisch worked for five years as a member of the management of a medium-sized retail company in Italy. He has been a lawyer at Fankhauser Attorneys at Law since 1995 and a partner since 1997. In 2006/7 he successfully completed the specialist training in liability and insurance law at the University of St. Gallen (CAS HSG Torts Insurance Law). He works in an advisory and litigation capacity, primarily in the areas of labour, social insurance as well as inheritance law. Reto Caflisch practises in German, Italian, Romansh, English and French.

Susan Lind has been a partner at Fankhauser Attorneys at Law since 2008, having gained extensive experience at courts and as a lawyer. She completed the training to become a specialist attorney for family law certified by the Swiss Bar Association. She advises and represents her clients primarily in the area of family and inheritance law. Susan Lind is also a member of the board of the "Association of Specialist Lawyers SBA Family Law".

After being admitted to the bar, Yves Blöchlinger initially worked in the legal department of an insurance company for several years before becoming a self-employed lawyer. He has been a partner at Fankhauser Attorneys at Law since 2015. He advises and represents his clients primarily in the areas of liability and insurance, criminal, traffic and labour law.

Tobias Figi was admitted to the bar in 2003 after completing internships at a court and at the public prosecutor's office. He then worked as head of a legal team of a legal protection insurance company in Zurich. In 2006, he became a self-employed lawyer and joined Fankhauser Attorneys at Law as a partner in 2015. He specialises in liability and social insurance law and completed his training as a specialist lawyer and insurance lawyer certified by the Swiss Bar Association in 2021 and 2022. Today, he advises and represents his clients in the areas of liability and insurance law, primarily social insurance law, criminal law and traffic law.

Stefan Mäder worked for over four years at a district court, including as law clerk of the collegiate court in civil and criminal matters, deputy chief law clerk and chairman of the conciliation authority for tenancy matters. He has been working as a lawyer since 2012. He joined Fankhauser Attorneys at Law as a partner in 2020. He advises and represents clients in proceedings before state authorities and courts and advises companies and private individuals in various areas of law.

Christoph Lindt initially worked as a lawyer in a law firm specialised in dispute resolution after being a trainee at the district court. He subsequently worked in the legal department of an international company in the energy sector. He has been a partner at Fankhauser Attorneys at Law since 2023. He advises his clients primarily in the areas of contract and corporate law as well as criminal, family and inheritance law.
